Elitepad turns off when using case - but, company replaced
I'm back to edit my original review from about a month ago. I originally purchased the purple case, and this was my comment at the time:"I was really happy with the color and quality of the case, but every time I slide my new HP Elitepad into the case, it turns off. If I pull the tablet out an inch, it turns back on. But, it will not stay on if it is fully in the case. Disappointing."Someone from the selling company contacted me after posting this, and replaced it with a duplicate black case that does not have this same issue and works great. I was really impressed that they went out of their way to resolve the issue. I just figured I was out of my money and the case would go into the trash. I'm upgrading the review from 1 star to 4 stars just because their customer service surprised me (pleasantly) so much!

There's a solution
So, this item is a little defective. As other reviewers have noted, some of these cases tend to make the tablet go to sleep. It's because of magnets in the case that are supposed to do something, what I don't know. But I'm giving it a good review for several reasons:I'm happy with the quality of the case. Its study and attractive enough, especially for the cost. I wish there were different angles for the stand, but for a $10 case I'm okay not having that option.I contacted the company about my issues and they happily sent me a new case for free. The magnet issue is easily fixed with a small razor or craft blade. The magnets are on the side flaps, near the corner; you can see them in medium light. If the room is too bright or too dark it will be difficult to see. Simply cut a slit along each magnet and slide it out. You can barely see the cut afterwards and the case works perfectly.

Pretty Decent
Although this was not an HP made or branded case, it fitted my elitepad perfectly. All the hole, ports and other areas were snuggly available and fitted just write. The material was decently sturdy all around, except for the screen area which was a little loose around the screen edges. There was enough space left uncovered at the top and bottom for finger sliding, but there could definitely be more space and the sides. overall.. a pretty decent case. I would buy another.

Good But,
The Elitebook is geared towards business so I don't think we'll see much in the way of design for it's accessories. Having said that, this was bought for my wife and she wanted an attractive case. She selected this one and is mostly happy with it. Her only concern is the stylus holder being too tight to fit a stylus easily. Otherwise a good case.

Fine for the money I guess
So it's affordable. Based on the price I guess I can't complain so far. However, I really don't like the lack of flexibility on the angles. You don't have many options.Even the cheap ones that HP had for their old Touchpad worked out better for me.It will do the job but not sure it might not have been worth coughing up the money for something higher end.

Solid product
Good quality case. Fits well and looks professional. Only quibble is that when the cover is used as a flip stand there is only one position possible which is somewhat upright, could use some more adjustability in this area.

ok product
I guess I was expecting something mor sturdy than what I recieved. It is a decent value for the price.
