farbenwald Myrrh, 50 g, directly imported from Oman, delivered in a resealable zipper bag, Commiphora myrrha

Mmm, unsure of this as yet because although I used a largish amount, to get a better scent I had to put in some frankincense on top. Not as good as the previous which I purchased for the price. Maybe I am unclear as to how it should smell when it is burnt alone............

I have tryed several different bags of myrrh from amazon sellers and i think this is the best quality so far. Careful controled heating (over a flame not charcoal) releases a sweet slighty greasy and pervasive perfume. It seems to have a good high oil content to the resin aswell. The bag i recieved appears to be of a higher grade myrrh than the picture shown! Thats a first for amazon! The bag contained uniform mid dark peices of good size rather then the mix of smaller bits shown in the picture. I think myrrh is still my favourite of all the resins and i am pleased with this particular bag.
