I decided to get this particular Bowie Knife based on the design of both the handle and blade. The Damascus Blade is made up of a mixture of 1095 and 15N20 Alloy Steel, which is forged into a specific pattern. There are many different Damascus Steel Patterns and they are all very unique, from my research this particular knife has a pattern called Firestorm.The knife came packaged in plastic with lots of oil, which I believe was to protect the knife from corrosion. After taking the knife out of the package and cleaning the Oil off of the knife I did a sharpness test and the blade wasn't very sharp, after running the knife a few times in my manual knife sharpener the blade is now sharp enough to cut through paper. I think the Oil might've also produced an unwanted effect which is the shrinkage of the Stag Horn in the handle. Due to the possible shrinkage of the Stag Horn the Brass rings on both sides of the Stag Horn are slightly raised, which makes the handle uncomfortable to hold. The handle also features a hand guard which is actually very effective and gives the knife a sword like appearance. The knife also comes with a nice leather Sheath that fits the knife.Overall the knife looks nice and works well as a multipurpose knife.

The point came bent... The blade came with wear marks already on it, the blade was butter knife dull. The guard was scratched. Otherwis... its ok.

stag handle looks and feels nice but came loose and blade has a slight warp twist to it.

I love it but I will never use it because it’s a little Loose but I was never going to use it in the first place put in shadowbox and it’s too good looking not to But overall I think it’s awesome

The knife is not as in the description. The handle is fake the blade was oxidized

I just got the knife and it looks really cool...but had no practical use....the blade was so dull it could hardly cut through the box it came in and after doing so the handle became lose. Sufficed to say I will be returning it for a refund.
